Spring

In Spring flowers bloom
In Winter they turn gloom
See the buzzing bees
Look at big strong trees
And also to be seen
Is the grass growing green
The rains now gone away
And the animals come out and play
The raindrops that fall in Spring
Make the snowdrops and bluebells ring
Children swinging kites about
And birds flying south
Summer is near
But Spring is here.

Buds, Leaves, Confirmation,
Summer is now near.
Birds are singing, Animals awake
From the Bear when he shake, shake, shake.
To the mountains, with rain drops and all
See the flowers of the Daffodil

It's a lovely time of year
Spring comes from the man above
Sent truly by his love
Summers near
Gone is the Christmas beer
Winter is far clear
We think of the rest of the year
A longer day
Means extra time to play
Now nature is reborn

To the lovely and proud steed

Blacksmiths are shoeing
Summer is near
